Investigating the Impact of Using Cooperative Learning Strategy in Improving EFL Students’ Reading Skill: A Case Study of First Year Students of English at College of Education- Sudan University of Science and Technology

This research article is aiming at investigating the Impact of Using Cooperative Learning Strategy in Improving EFL Students’ Reading Skill. Subjects were 40 male university students English Department, College Education, SUST. They randomly assigned into two groups: The experimental group using cooperative reading strategies and control a traditional method instructions. study reached following findings: firstly, first year can develop batter skills by implementing learning process. Secondly, students' performance improved significantly, they developed better attitudes towards via strategy. Finally, learning, are motivated less reluctant. Also, recommends following: first, teachers should adopt methods teaching Second, be provided with enough opportunities process, more importantly, encouraged to implement both out classroom.
